How To Flash KDZ File

What is this KDZ?

This is LG Firmware file made by LG for any LG smartphone available on the market.

A. Download the KDZ file

1. Check your device box for the proper Suffix

2.  Go to - LG Firmware Download (just type in Search - your suffix - e.g. "SWS")

3. Download and save the KDZ file.

B. Enable Developer Options

1. Go to Settings - About Phone - Software info
2. Tap on Build Number until show TOAST says that you are now a developer
3. And then go to Settings - Developer Options - Check "USB Debugging"

C. Download KDZ Flash Tool Software

1. LG Driver for Windows - download
2. LG Driver for MAC - download
3. LG Flash Tool - download
4. Install LG Drivers 
5. Unzip LG Flash Tool 
6. Get the latests firmware for your phone from the site
7. Copy the .KDZ file into LG Flash Tool folder

D. Flashing the KDZ File

1. Connect Mobile device to PC (wait for the drivers to install)
2. Run as Administrator - LGFLASHTOOL2014.exe
3. Select type - CDMA / PhoneMode - DIAG / Reset time - 33000
4. Select the KDZ file and hit - CSE Flash (factory flash)

5.  Press START and RUN

6. Hit OK and just wait (don't close the program)

7. Phone will restart in Firmware Update and flash itself
